hosted by Peninsula Community Chapel (PCC)
4209 Big Bethel Road, Yorktown, VA 23693
Our second annual Orphan Care Expo will be Saturday, November 14, 2015. We’ll host adoption, foster care, counseling, mentoring, tutoring, family support and orphan support agencies from the Richmond and Hampton Roads areas. Our goal is to provide opportunities to learn more about the many organizations in our area and connect with agency representatives and others interested in foster care and adoption. Expo attendees will be able to talk with agency representatives and see introductory profiles of children who are available for placement.
SaraBeth Fentress of 127 Worldwide will be our plenary speaker this year. She has fourteen years of non-profit experience and sixteen years of ministry experience. She is a graduate of Carson Newman University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. God has grown a passion in her heart for orphan care, advocacy, and discipleship. Through networks in the international missions and non-profit sectors, SaraBeth has connected with national ministry leaders and international missionaries who desperately need a voice and connected them to influential circles in order to create awareness and facilitate change. Creating awareness to facilitate change – this is the heartbeat of Sara Beth.
The Expo will have breakout sessions covering topics for those in the various stages of the orphan care journey, whether you’re just considering the possibilities or already involved in caring for children.
It’s our hope that this event will encourage you in your journey and help provide children in need with love that will transform their hearts and lives.
